Description: Digital Hyper was hired by PolyDeck once again to create their Armadex character, Dexter. Armadex is a product of PolyDeck Screen that needed it’s own brand. Dexter was created just for that as a 2D logo and turned into a full production as a 3D character. As usual we used 3DS Max and Mudbox with after effects as our compositing tool.
Armadex™ is a high performance, extreme duty screening solution made for your toughest scalping applications. This custom rubber screening product uses Binary Injection Molding (BIM) technology, a proprietary Polydeck manufacturing method that produces more than ten times the pressure normally used to produce compression molded rubber. This process along with our premium blend of natural gum rubbers and high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel plate backing produces a product of unprecedented strength and uniformity in its structure and composition from top to bottom and side to side. This means you get a longer wearing screen section with the lowest dollars per ton investment. Best of all, the BIM process allows customization options not available in traditional bolt-down screen media.
